"Troop 1201 tried something new last night and it was a great success. Irwindale Speedway! The evening may have been cool, but the racing was HOT! The highlight of the night was probably the one-hour figure eight race – these guys are CRAZY! The "train race" was probably the second most popular. There was a "Car Soccer" competition, demolition derby, two ˝ mile oval races, a tug-of-war, a pickup dragster powered by a jet engine and more. I have a feeling we’ll be doing this again!" -- Scoutmaster Cliff.
